Kościół Pokoju w Świdnicy lub Jaworze
Protestant churches in Swidnica and Jawor are two out of three Churches of Peace built in the Lower Silesia in the 17th century. The third one in Glogow did not survive the fire of the town in 18th century. The two remaining churches are the biggest wooden religious objects in Europe. The richly decorated interiors are fine examples of baroque style. The Churches of Peace bear testimony to the quest of the Lutherans for religious freedom. Located outside the city walls, made of wood or clay and built in less than a year, they are now placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
